Strategy & Execution

Strategy focus and alignment targeting key populations

Identifying and removing execution barriers

Scaling strategic capability for growth

Execution is shaped by how strategy moves through the organization’s formal and informal systems. It depends on more than plans, priorities, and KPI dashboards.

We help CEOs and senior teams see how their current system behaves, then design the interventions required to accelerate strategy execution.

OUR APPROACH

  • We never assume that clarity at the top guarantees execution below

  • We redesign the routines and interactions that have a disproportionate impact on performance

  • We build for local ownership and consistency, so execution scales rapidly

QUESTIONS WE ADDRESS

  • Why is the strategy not translating into consistent execution?

  • Which dimensions of the status quo are impeding pace, alignment, and accountability?

  • How do we redesign work, roles, and routines so humans and AI together drive better execution?

  • What routine needs to be in place to ensure that AI doesn’t scale inefficiency?

WHERE WE BEGIN

  • Senior team alignment and operating cadence

  • Executive offsites and senior leadership events

  • Identifying and leveraging the moments that matter most

  • Enhancing what is distinctive as AI is adopted

Arkae & Co. in action:

Shifting from inefficient fiefdoms into aligned performance

A 200-year-old law firm knew where it needed to go, but its partnership model made execution difficult. Central authority was weak. Previous attempts to drive alignment had failed to change how partners actually behaved.

The risk was material. The firm’s greatest strategic asset was its breadth of expertise, but clients were still often served through narrow practice relationships rather than the firm’s full capability.

Diagnosing the issues

Through nearly 80 interviews, we helped the leadership team diagnose the social norms shaping how the partnership really worked: the unwritten rules around autonomy, status, authority, collaboration, and leadership credibility. Then we helped them address the key issues.

Shared language, measurable gains

The work led to clearer partner expectations, stronger collaboration around complex client needs, and greater ownership of firm-wide priorities. Commercially, the firm saw measurable gains in profitability, cash flow, and win rates.
